Our Progress
In its early days, the team organised peaceful demonstrations, public vigils, and media outreach to raise awareness of China’s human rights crisis. We worked with UK-based communities to support those affected by censorship, surveillance, and political persecution.
Since then, we have expanded our mission beyond China. We have published research reports, spoken to media and lawmakers, and provided one-to-one guidance to activists and students facing political pressure.
Today, as Democratic Aid, we continue this work—sharing practical knowledge, raising awareness, and standing with those who dare to defend democracy, wherever they are.
